Ladder
Atlanta, GA
We envision 104 Trinity as a Ladder: a conduit for socioeconomic mobility and business incubation in the City of Atlanta. Our proposal leverages the history, ecology and urban context of the site to generate a place that fosters stepping up the socioeconomic spectrum through civic engagement. With the Center for Civic Innovation as our anchor, “Ladder” will be a place that supports a social ecosystem of civic empowerment, minority empowerment, equitable housing, and health and wellness, providing opportunities for an Atlantan and local small businesses to move up the proverbial socio-economic ladder.
With a target mix of 65% affordable units for Atlantans earning 30% AMI (Area Median Income) to 80% AMI, as well as a diverse mix of programs lead by black and brown businesses activating the neighborhood and streets with food, civic engagement and job training, Ladder aims to bring a holistically equitable ecosystem that integrates into the civic heart of Atlanta.
Project team includes eightvillage, Good Places, Center for Civic Innovation, and Marddy’s Kitchen.
