Bright Tree Village is a 3.5+ acre creative reteat located along the forested foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains. Accommodations enhance an immersive nature experience by mimicing the surrounding nature, framing scenic views, and offering nature-based interactive and educational activities. We provide a variety of private and public spaces to best accommodate the dynamic needs of your group. Each conditioned suite accommodates up to 2 people and contains one bedroom, full bath, wardrobe, kitchenette, and workspace for quiet seclusion. A variety of conditioned indoor and outdoor common areas are also available for reading, exploring, creating, cooking, sharing meals, and collaborating.
The common areas provide tools such as glass expo walls, library, printer, basic craft materials, a variety of work surfaces to support the collaborative process. Plant identification tags along the forest foot trails and an educational garden located on the premise further encourage individual exploration and self discovery. Along with the inherent inspiration of the surrounding nature, Bright Tree Village’s architecture strives to incorporate playful, whimsical, and unexpected moments such as secret doors, swings, and sky bridges to help awaken the creative inner child of guests. It also caters to sustainability enthusiasts by showcasing the passive design and sustainable building systems that it utilizes via educational plaques located throughout.
